HTC Windows Phone 8X release date confirmed

It’s been a week we saw the unveiling of the HTC Windows Phone 8X, and now we have a launch date for your tech buffs. The highly-anticipated smartphone is expected to come on November 8th. And the release date has been affirmed by some popular online retailers.

First, the world’s biggest shopping portal Amazon is offering the SIM-free edition on pre-order, with an anticipated shipping date of November 8th. The price is rather steep at £531.43, or $863.

Still, the price or the launch date hasn’t been authorized by the Taiwanese mobile maker. But, a seller as reputed as Amazon can’t be wrong in listing the release date of an upcoming handset. So we can believe this release date.

Anyway, Microsoft will also announce its latest platform in late October. And then we would see manufacturers releasing their handsets based on the Windows Phone 8 platform. We just wait to get our hands on the latest smartphones running on the latest Windows Phone 8 operating system.

The smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display. The 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor runs the show here. The Windows Phone 8X seems promising, but competing with Nokia will not be easy for the Taiwanese telecommunication giant.
In the meantime, Clove UK also offers the HTC Windows Phone 8X for a more sensible £399 ($648). If you desire to know more about the handset in question, head on to the above stated shopping portals.
